Dreams in Motion Offers First Wheelchair Tennis Clinic

Posted:

It's not your ordinary tennis match.

Some are proving that a little teamwork makes the dream work.

Capital Racquet and Fitness Center teams up with Dreams in Motion to offer a free wheelchair tennis clinic.

It's open to youth and adults with mobility challenges.

Dayton Farley has been playing wheelchair sports for many years and enjoys seeing kids come out to try them too.

"I just like to see them improve a lot. It's so neat after all of the couple years that the kids really pick up on the different techniques and they just improve so much. It's a lot of fun," says Dayton Farley, Advisory Committee, Dreams in Motion - Bismarck.

Dreams in Motion provides recreational and sporting opportunities for those with mobility challenges and visual impairments.

They plan to make wheelchair tennis an annual event.
