Dickinson Welcomes Menards

Posted:

It's being called a "mega store" ...and it finally makes its debut in western North Dakota.

Menards opened its doors in Dickinson on Tuesday.

Word of mouth was all that was needed to get the crowds pouring in.

There's been a lot of anticipation in the community for a store like this.

General Manager Mark Kerr says there's been a positive response already, and the business is already booming... Ahead of its grand opening..

"It's been tremendous. It's been tremendous already even though we haven't done any advertising. Grand opening is going to start next weekend so traffic has been good," says Mark Kerr, General Manager of Menards.

Kerr says many people are happy they no longer have to travel east for their home improvement needs.
