New Machinery at Expo

New Machinery at Expo

Posted: Updated:

This year at the Ag Expo, a new machine has farmers stopping in their tracks.

It a new machine that makes tilling a quicker and more efficient.

(Derek Molnar, Degelman Industries)"This is our pro-till high-speed tillage machine. it's brand new this year. It was designed to take care of some of the fall clean-up and the spring tillage for the corn-belt. But, we are seeing a real high demand for it in western Canada, and North Dakota as well. Compared to other tillage machines similar to it, this machine has about thirty-three thousand pounds to the frame, so with that weight comes penetration with the disks, which allows for better soil-disturbing, and movement as well."

The 33 foot tiller costs about $180,000.
