The first of the final four candidates for the position of Minot State University president visited campus today.
Lorrie Clemo toured the campus, and met with board members, faculty, and students.
This afternoon she held an open Q and A with students, giving everyone an opportunity to get familiar with her.
The New York State native says she is focused on helping students flourish.
(Lorrie Clemo, State University of New York at Oswego) "Understanding what it is that will lead them to their degree and keep them at the institution to the degree stage is something that we're all struggling with. Whether they're in the North or the East or the South or the West. We are working toward being more effective at our jobs."
The other three finalists for the president's job will be on campus through the week.
The state Board of Higher Education will pick a new president to replace Dr. David Fuller at the end of the month.
