Final enrollment figures for the spring semester show a decline in the number of students at Minot State University.
MSU released the information today showing a 3.8% decline in the number of students in Spring 2014 compared with one year ago.
President Dr. David Fuller says there is some positive information included in the report, including an increase in the number of out-of-state students...that number was up 1.2%.
The number of non-Canadian international students also rose - up 11.3%.
Fuller says those areas of growth show MSU is getting its message out beyond the local region.
Enrollment figures become official after the fourth full week of classes in a semester.
Two people were shot by Minot Police officers in an early morning incident Saturday.
One has been released from the hospital, the other is still hospitalized.
