MSU Presidential Search

Posted: Updated:

The presidential search for Minot State University has been narrowed down to three.

The search committee has recommended Lorrie Clemo, Steve Shirley and Martin Slann for consideration by the full state board of higher education.

Dr. Lorrie Clemo is provost and vice president for academic affairs at the State University of New York at Oswego.

Dr. Steve Shirley is the president of Valley City State University --- he has served there since 2008.

Dr. Martin Slann is dean of the college of arts and sciences at the University of Texas in Tyler.

The board will meet on the Minot State University campus on February 27 to interview the three candidates and make a final decision.

MSU president Dr. David Fuller will retire in June.

The new president will take office this summer.
