Turning today's youth into tomorrow's leaders.
This is Citizenship in Action happening here in Bismarck.
More than 50 4-H members and non-4Her's are learning how to be leaders.
The government process, our country's history, getting active in your community and leadership development are the focus.
(Morgan Leamer / Minot) "A lot of people our age including teens and kids they really don't thin they can get involved in their government, so this is a great opportunity to show that you are a part of the government and that what you do here is part of the bigger picture. It really shows what you can do to be involved in your community and government and educates you about what you can do."
(Lauryn Hinckley / Bismarck/Mandan 4-H'er) "I really wanted to sign up for this because I wanted to build off the community service I have already done. Because last year I did about 200 hours of community service and I truly wanted to build on top of that. I also wanted the joy of making new friends from all around the state."
The 6th annual, 2 day Citizenship in Action wraps up today.
