Lady Liberty Enjoys Warmer Temps

Posted:

Lady Liberty is no frozen statue today in this warm weather.

Liberty Tax had their friendly face out on the corner waving to cars passing by.

The guy in the costume says he's been doing this job for about three weeks now and is out just about every morning...even in the freezing temperatures.

Today though, he's appreciating the warmth.

"Because of the problems with my legs, like, I'll be out here for 10-15 minutes and then I've got to run back inside," says Lady Liberty, Liberty Tax.

"What's it like being outside today on this sunny day?"

"It's actually nice, it's warm," says Lady Liberty.

FYI -- when it's really cold he's got the full winter gear on underneath his lady liberty apparel.
