Enrollment at Williston State College has jumped this spring.
WSC announced today the Spring, 2014 student count is up to 891 - an increase of 8-and-a-half percent over a year ago.
It's the fourth-largest spring enrollment ever at Williston State.
College officials report a nearly-50% increase in the number of students taking dual credit courses - college courses that high school students are allowed to take to receive both high school and college credit.
At Dakota College at Bottineau, enrollment is at 442, an increase of about 5% over spring of 2013.
In addition, the total number of credit hours taken by students also increased by about the same percentage.
