Rachel Seaman Sets Meet Record, Nate Brannen Sets Canadian Indoor Record, and Katie Mackey Wins the Husky Classic Mile

ElliptiGO Project athletes turned in wins and record-setting performances at two track meets this past weekend. Canadian Olympic Racewalker, Rachel Seaman, walked a 6:17:29 mile at the Millrose Games in New York this past weekend to lower her PR by 24 seconds and set a new meet record. Two-time Canadian Olympian Nate Brannen turned in a PR in the mile, as well, running 3:54:32 to set a new Canadian Indoor Mile Record. Across the country at the University of Washington Husky Classic in Seattle, 8-time All American Katie Mackey took first place in the mile in her first appearance back from a recent injury.
These athletes joined The ElliptiGO Project, a group of elite athletes focused on using innovative training tools and techniques to improve performance, to better leverage the expertise of the Projects other members and advisors. The Project is currently recruiting elite athletes with ambitious goals who are interested in exploring innovative new ways of getting faster and staying healthy.
