Officer of the Year

Posted: Updated:

Minot's Police Department honored its officer of the year today.

His name is Craig Sandusky - but we can't show you his face because he's an undercover agent.

Sandusky's efforts in 2013 included investigating drug related crime in Minot.

In one case, he collected two and a half pounds of methamphetamine from a local residence-- that's the largest in the town's history.

(Jason Olson, Minot Police Chief) "Craig has been an investigator with us for four and a half years, has been instrumental in large investigations and seizures. He's one of the top producers in terms of arrests, and narcotic seizures over at the task force."

The Police Department also recognized Tami Hodge as its employee of the year for her work in the records department.
