King George V. Theodore Roosevelt. Ernest Hemingway. These three influential men have one thing in common a love for hunting. Harold Ash is familiar with the thrills and rewards of this age-old sport, he has been hunting for over 50 years. In his autobiography, The Tale of a Hunter, he shares an insiders look into the world of hunting and his many storied adventures in the great outdoors.
Ash has been hunting since he was eight years old. The Tale of a Hunter, which he describes as a book chronicling a lifetime of hunting and outdoors, is a glimpse into his life and his passion as a hunter. His motivation for writing is to leave something that his grandchildren and family can remember him by but his work holds universal appeal in that it shows readers the joy and sense of fulfillment that comes from pursuing ones dreams.
As the compelling and evocative narrator, Ash guides readers on alongside his adventures through Connecticut, Montana, Wyoming, British Columbia, New York State and finally to where he is today a place of thoughtful recollection and gratitude.
Personally relevant and universally valuable, The Tale of a Hunter is a story of a life well-lived and a look into the exciting world of hunting.
