"Gunshots" Case Continues to Stump Authorities

Posted:

Ward County officials continue to investigate and to be stumped by the mysterious case of shots being fired into numerous homes and even a business over the last few weeks.

Detective Larry Hubbard says they have been tracking down some leads...but they are still hoping for more information that will lead to arrests in the case.

He says they know it is more than one person they are looking for in these cases where shots have been fired into homes -- many occupied -- and many narrowly missing people inside.

Rewards are now being offered...and he hopes that key piece of information will come to light soon to help solve the case.

(Det. Larry Hubbard - Ward Co. Sheriff Dept.) "That is what we need. We need information as to who it is and also to corroborate some stuff so we can find a vehicle that is involved in this or additional evidence so we can make an arrest."

Hubbard says there is no known connection between any of the homes that have been struck making the case tougher to solve.
