Monster Trucks

Monster Trucks

Posted: Updated:

Dare devils from all over the country hit the State Fair Center this afternoon to heat up a chilly Saturday with their flips and tricks.

Monster truck drivers came out today to show off their vehicles, and compete with one another in the mud pit.

But the day wasn't all about these massive machines - there were quad races, mud runs, and even races for kids with their mini monster trucks.

(Samantha Wickman, Participant and Worker) "That's the main thing, is people just like to come and watch them, they're really loud. And then the kids kind of like it because they get the little toys, and then when they get that, then they want to see the big thing. And you can buy them in stores, but it's not the same as if you see it in person. And I guess I've always been that girl that wanted to go mudding, and be the outdoorsy type, so this is totally up my alley."

Engines will rumble into the night with the main event beginning at 7:30. Tickets are still available.
