Just three days ago, BHS forward Jared Spooner helped the Demons win their first ever state hockey championship.
And already Spooner is on to the next level.
Jared Spooner has started practicing with the Bismarck Bobcats, and will play for them this weekend.
He can play 10 games for the Bobcats during this season, but he is not allowed to play in the post season with the Bobcats.
His 26 goals, and 25 assists were good for 5th place in North Dakota high school hockey scoring.
He was also the state tournament MVP, with a whopping 12 points in 3 games.
Spooner has also signed a tender agreement with the Bismarck Bobcats, meaning if he stays in the NAHL next year, he will play for the Bobcats.
Harrison Aide, the leading scoring in North Dakota high school hockey, who played for Bottineau will also finish the season with the Bobcats, Aide had 52 goals and 40 assists this season, he was named the Outstanding Senior Athlete of the Year for ND hockey.
