Around Town 2-28

From a new development and brand new store in Bismarck, to hot eats in Lincoln, Steph Scheurer takes us around town.

Mother Nature doesn't seem quite ready to give us any signs of spring yet but that isn't stopping this business.

Golf Etc. Bismarck is moving in to the old Party World.

Sixty-three hundred square feet will allow for five golf simulators, equipment, a club building and repair shop, and even a snack bar.

Owner Gen Smith says the community can look forward to a place to play full rounds of golf in the winter, get decked out in all the right apparel, and get your clubs built like the pros.

They aim to open on April 1st.

A multi-purpose strip mall plans to break ground May 1st and will be located on the North side of Bismarck off of 43rd and Coleman.

800 to 18 thousand square feet will be available for office space, retail, restaurants and will have one drive-up available in the back.

Completion will be sometime within the last quarter of the year.

Benchwarmers in Lincoln has been open since May of 2013 but has recently become very popular.

They're known for their steaks and build your own half pound burgers.

If you want peanut butter, fried eggs, and jalapeno poppers on your burger, with quirky but great service, you got it.

"We all have like really flamboyant personalities and we're all really different and we just really like to have fun with customers. It's about coming down and creating a fun atmosphere for everyone," says Brandi Jude, General Manager, Benchwarmers.

All ages are welcome.

Jude says being located in Lincoln has been nice because they've gotten to know the community very well and appreciate their support.

Benchwarmers also features live music.
