The first day of March means that - hopefully - it will finally start warming up outside.
Today, 30 young men began making plans for those warmer months --- raising money for summertime trips.
Boy Scout troop 425 hosted the breakfast that was open to the public all morning.
Profits from today will help make upcoming events more affordable for the troop --- like summer camp and a canoe trip.
The troop leader says that putting on fundraiser's like this not only brings in money to help the boys, but shows these scouts the importance of community.
(George Smith, Scout Master of Troop 425) "That's why we've been doing it for 17 years - most of the people - the troop is working it, but we've got some family members that are coming. But people in the community are coming and supporting it. Boy Scouts is a good program, and we need the community support."
Troop 425's next fundraiser will be their annual car wash and yard sale in July.
