A New York man was in a Minot courtroom today and entered a plea of "not guilty" to gross sexual imposition.
51-year-old Paul Honce is charged with a Class Double-A Felony.
He's accused of having sex with a girl under the age of 15 in March of last year in Minot.
Honce was arrested in his home state of New York in January and brought back to North Dakota to face the charge.
It carries a maximum sentence of life in prison and, according to prosecutor Marie Miller, requires a minimum sentence of 20 years if there's a conviction.
Honce is due back in court for a pre-trial conference in mid-May.

A two-year-old child was killed by a hit-and-run driver in Minot Sunday evening.
