Ice jams and runoff in southwestern North Dakota have many eyes focused on the Little Missouri.

The National Weather Service issues a flood warning for ice jam flooding in western Bowman and Slope counties.

These are photos from the Bowman County Facebook page. The aerial photos were taken Wednesday.

The warning is in effect through noon mountain time Sunday.

Emergency management reported ice jam flooding north of Marmarth today.

The weather service says they expect a pattern of rapidly changing river levels to continue.

The report says flooding is occurring in mostly rural areas of south central Golden Valley County as well as western Bowman and Slope Counties.

That includes areas around Marmarth, Pretty Butte, Sunset Butte and the Three V crossing.
