A continuing investigation led by the FBI called Operation Winter's End resulted in the arrest of three people in Mountrail County on multiple charges including possession of meth amphetamine with intent to deliver, a class A felony, and possession of methamphetamine paraphernalia, a class C felony .

Investigators conducted the search northwest of New Town on Wednesday and discovered and seized methamphetamine and 19 firearms.

Meanwhile, in a related two-day law enforcement operation in McKenzie County, 20 individuals have been arrested.

The North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation, along with federal and local agencies, conducted a long-term undercover investigation.

About 50 traffic stops were made during the operation.

Law enforcement seized drugs, drug paraphernalia, firearms, and cash.

Also, fourteen illegal aliens were detained and turned over to border patrol.

Criminal charges against several arrested are pending.
