8 Troops from the North Dakota National Guard got a warm reception today as they returned from Afghanistan. Ben Smith reports

"This is one of our welcome home ceremonies called freedom salute. It's an opportunity to recognize the soldiers and families that have sacrificed as they deploy around the world." says Major General David Sprynczynatyk
"I'm not a big ceremony guy either but when they do it in such a nice, small setting like they have here. You got the governor, the senator, the congressman, you've got representatives for those who can't be here." says 1st Russell Grant
"It's a great feeling, especially since my wife's in the guard too. She knows how hard it is. It's great to see her and the kids. The kids...a second time through...really wanted us to come home." says Officer Travis Bridwell
