Families and hunters of all ages got together this weekend to have a good time, for a good cause.
The annual Pheasants for the Future banquet was held in Minot to raise money and awareness for habitat conservation.
Raffles, silent auctions, and door prizes were offered to those in attendance.
The goal of the group is to instill the importance of conservation in youths, and also to raise excitement for hunting at all ages.
(David Bussard, Co-Chairman of Pheasants for the Future) "We actually are going to be setting a record, we're giving over 104 guns to our people that are coming out, it's really phenomenal to be able to come out and just have a chance to win a gun, or win something to take home, and it's a really special event. Great cause, and it's helping our habitat."
All the money raised at the event is going to youth membership and conservation efforts.
