Bismarck police are looking for a 35-year-old Minot man following multiple pursuits Wednesday.

35-year-old Dustin Goettle is driving a black 2001 Chevy Blazer with North Dakota license KEL703.

They warn he could be armed with a handgun.

Goettle is described as 6'4" weighing 160-190 pounds.

Police and the Burleigh County Sheriff's Department tried to stop him several times Wednesday but he was able to elude them.

In one case they stopped the pursuit after Goettle drove the wrong way on 9th Street--a one-way.

The handgun and two identical bags of meth were found in three different locations throughout town.

Police believe Goettle threw them out the window as he was being pursued.

The gun was found on the ground at 4th Street and Teton Avenue.

It's reported stolen out of Mobridge.

Bags of meth were found near the 300 block of north 11th Street and in the Target parking lot.

Goettle has a long criminal record  in Ward County.

He's wanted on a number of outstanding warrants.
