St. Joseph's Foundation Gives Funds

Posted: Updated:

St. Joseph's Community Health Foundation awarded its largest donation ever to organizations in the Minot area.

A $600,000 dollar donation was given to food pantry's, non-profits, parks and many others today at the Grand Hotel.

St. Joseph's Foundation President Shelly Weppler said fifteen years ago their first donation amounted to $12 thousand.

Now that they have access to more funds they simply want to invest back in their community.

(Shelly Weppler, St. Joseph's Foundation President) "We look to make sure that we have programs that are helping that, and we are so pleased and we are humbled by the work that is being done by those organizations. We have the resources they are out there doing it daily to make sure their needs are being met"

St. Joseph's year to date donation totals are $4.8 million, and they said they look forward to contributing even more in the future.
