The Annual Prairie Quilt Festival is being held this weekend at the Grand Hotel.
It is the biggest project held by Minot's Quilt Guild each year, and draws merchants and artisans, from all over the nation.
Quilt craftspeople sell their materials, creations, books, patterns and hold classes throughout the weekend.
Bonnie Lundorff founded and has run Willow Wood Market in Bemidgi, Minnesota for 16 years.
This is her third year in attendance as a vendor, teacher and enthusiast.
Lundorff says no matter the walk of life you may come from, there is something you can enjoy.
(Bonnie Lundorff, Owner of Willow Wood Market) "There's such a great diversity with the vendors. I was walkingt around earlier and everybody has something different and the quilts on display are beautiful. The Minot Quilt Guild does an excellent job with their displays and their quality of quilting is amazing. So yes, I would encourage anybody to come out. Even if you're not a quilter you can certainly appreciate the work that's being done."
The Merchant Mall at the Grand is open to the public Saturday from 8am to 4:30pm and Sunday from 9am to 3pm. Most vendors accept cash only, though some have credit card capabilities.
