Agriculture and art collide at Sunrise Elementary.
Kindergarten and second grade students have been learning about life on the farm - specifically sheep and wool production.
Today they got to felt their own wool to take home.
The process helps the students understand how to take wool from a sheep on the farm and use it in their own lives.
"The wool comes from different animals than a sheep. It comes from a yak. We made a design and I made a smiley face. You can make wool out of a sweater, shirts, and coats," says Zachary Brenden, 2nd Grader, Sunrise Elementary.
The project is possible because of a grant from North Dakota Ag in the Classroom.
