New Country Club

Posted: Updated:

This Saturday the Minot Country Club will reveal blueprints for a new clubhouse and golf course.

The president of the country club says there are some new additions that many people are looking forward to.

A new restaurant will be open to the public, even though the course will remain private.

Those behind the planning say the facility should be built and open by spring time next year.

(Josh Ressler, President of Minot Country Club) "Last year we got into the course construction. We got a lot of stuff done last Summer. All of the tee boxes, the greens, the irrigation, the car path is all pretty much done. Now this year we will come, and we'll start working on the fairways and getting the grass growing. Now we are ready to start construction on the clubhouse so it's time to get people excited about that, and we have membership available so we want to get the word out to everybody."

Membership will probably be capped around 300, and if you would like more information about the Country Club come to Minot's Sleep Inn at 6:30 this Saturday.
