Two linemen from North Dakota are in Haiti helping bring power to neighborhoods.
This is the U.S. Ambassador to Haiti meeting with Northern Plains Electric Power Lineman Josh Hoffman, of Carrington.
Hoffman and Jody Bruce of Minot are in the third-world country installing power as part of a rural electrification project.
They are setting poles by hand.
The record so far is setting ten poles by hand in one day with the help of about 40 workers.
In comparison, they could do about five times that amount with equipment back home.
The two linemen will be in Haiti until this weekend.
