Daycare Stays Open During Blizzard

Posted:

Schools, universities and daycares across North Dakota take a snow day...

And no travel is advised in many areas because of a spring snow storm.

More than 50 schools at least closed today across the state.

Many in our viewing area.

Most schools are having to use snow days to make up the day...

But we were able to find at least one daycare in the Bismarck area still open today.

"As long as we could get employees here to open the building and to have enough staff here to work that we would be open because, even like today, we still have 45 kids here today and so that would be 45 kids that moms and dads would have to figure out where they would go for the day because they still have to go to work," says Tammy Anderson, Director, Super Kids Jr. Academy.

Anderson says spring snow storms are the best because the kids love the snow and it's usually warm enough to play in the day after.
