Student Spotlight: Bottineau

Posted: Updated:

A long-time annual tradition is back tonight on KX News.

Student Spotlight has introduced you to hundreds of top high school seniors over the years.

Each day through May, we'll travel to a different school and hear from the top graduate, plus pay tribute to the honor students at that school.

We begin this year in Bottineau, where Rachel Fix is one of the top students graduating this spring.

(Rachel Fix, Bottineau Senior) "We're very personable here, the teachers all have great relationships with the students so throughout my career I've had a lot of help from them and the administration getting through everything. My favorite subjects would have to be band and choir, I'm kind of a music nerd but I've also learned to love English and journalism throughout the years. I kind of like a bit of everything. I play volleyball, basketball, and we're currently getting ready for track and I'm in a bunch of various clubs throughout the school as well. I would like to be a chiropractor/athletic trainer. My dream job would be to get on a professional sports team's medical staff. Right now I'm planning on attending UND with a pre-med major before going to chiropractic school."

Congratulations to Rachel Fix and these honor students at Bottineau High School this year.

Graduation day for all 45 seniors is May 25th.
