So what's this building going to be? That's a common question -- and here is the answer. A Dallas, Texas based investor is bringing what he calls a high end Japanese steakhouse here that will be called ND Asia. It's a steakhouse, sushi bar, and will have hibachi tables as well. The outside of this facility located just north of Sonic near Cash Wise in south Minot is complete...and work to build out the interior is expected to take a few months. ND Asia should be open in July or August.

A new childcare facility is set to open its doors next week on Monday. Little River Childcare will be housed at the Minot River of Life Assembly of God Church at 400 22nd Ave. NW. Nicole Tveter is the director of the center that will be opening with the ability to handle 30 kids. There will be three rooms -- dedicated to infants, toddlers, and preschool aged kids. They open with the ability to take 30 kids...but already the plans are being put together to add more. 12 employees are hired and ready to go -- but none of it possible without the cooperation of the church...

(Nicole Tveter - Little River Childcare Director) "The church feels that it is their mission to be involved with kids and serve the community in the childcare industry. They have been very helpful getting it started and they just want to be able to help in the community."

Rates range from 175 dollars a week to 155 dollars a week...depending on age. With Business Beat, I'm Perry Olson.
