He's headed for NDSU and hopes for a degree in engineering.
Let's meet tonight's Student Spotlight senior - Jess Asheim of MLS-Mohall.
(Jess Asheim, MLS-Mohall Senior) "We have such a small class. We're on a first name basis with all of our teachers. If we have problems it's no big deal they can make time out of their schedule to help us and I think because I'm in such a small class we all know each other so well and that makes a lot of competition between us. Probably my favorite classes are the ones with science and math. Last year my favorite class out of them all was chemistry which is weird because a lot of people actually hate it but I loved it. And that's with Mr. Johnson. He's one of my favorite teachers because he makes science fun, makes learning fun. I'm in FFA, science olympiad, a lot of different stuff like that. As far as sports I'm pretty busy with football and basketball and then rodeo in the spring. Next year I plan on going to NDSU in the fall and I'm going into mechanical engineering I'm guessing. I really like science and math so I think mechanical engineering is the practical application of that. As far as long term I'd like to stay in North Dakota because I like how rural it is and how you can know everyone."
Congratulations to Jess - one of four seniors finishing their careers with perfect grade point averages at MLS-Mohall.
Graduation day for all 26 seniors is May 25th.
