Student Spotlight --- Granville

Posted: Updated:

Time for tonight's Student Spotlight, shining the light on another top high school graduate.

This time we're in Granville to meet Kendra Johnson.

(Kendra Johnson, TGU-Granville Senior) "I think I excelled at TGU-Granville because the teachers really work to help the students. If you have any questions you can always go in before school, after school, to get help from them and they really work to help you achieve your goals. I really like math class, it just comes really easy to me. Teachers that have really helped me would be Mrs. Webb, she really pushes me to do my best. Through high school I've been active in acalympics, choir, student council, science olympiad, tobacco coalition, I've been a member of the honor society. After graduation I plan to attend Minot State University and either obtain a degree in accounting or I've also thought about petroleum engineering."

Congratulations to Kendra and these honor students at TGU-Granville.

A total of 15 seniors will be graduating on May 25th.

Call it a case of deja vu, but Ward County voters can expect to see a bond request in front of them early next year, asking for almost the exact amount that they previously approved to build a new county office building and expand the jail.
