Some great figures in history were on display at TGU-Granville this afternoon.
The library hosted a wax museum display - with 5th grade students playing the roles of the wax museum displays.
From Daniel Boone to J.K. Rowling, Jackie Robinson to Leonardo DaVinci, some famous people were portrayed - and they came alive when visitors pushed the button.
"I saved my daughter from Indian braves."
"I'm a famous musician who got his first guitar in 1946."
"Four score and seven years ago, our fathers brought forth on this continent a new nation. That was a piece of my Gettysburg Address."
"Is it hard doing this? Is it hard to be in character?"
(Aidan McMahon, "Abraham Lincoln") "No not really. I think about the facts that I wrote down."
(Dawn Seopa, Granville Librarian) "We've learned a lot. They've learned a lot. You can hear them talking at different times in the hallways about facts about their characters and so it's been really fun."
"My parents abandoned my a couple years after I was born."
The wax museum was open today at TGU-Granville.
