Williston Girls Tennis Team Preparing for Season

Posted: Updated:

The Williston High girls tennis team is gearing up for the 2014 season.

The lady Coyotes did not qualify for state as a team a season ago but a few of their top players did.

Unfortunately of their top six players from 2013 only two return to the roster.

Making this a very young team in a tough West Region.

Wade Stueve/ Head Coach"Four of our top six players are gone from last season. We do have our four player Keyanna Enget who qualified for state singles. Kelly Kleven was our two player last, so they will battle for the one a two spots once we can challenge. So we're looking for a lot of leadership from them. After that it's going to be our JV team on whoever comes through on challenges. So we're going to be very young at the bottom but we have experience at the top."

Keely Kleven Senior "We have a solid top three, but when we go to St Mary's their top six are very good. It should be good match ups against Minot, Dickinson, Mandan, and Jamestown. We have potential to do well.

Keyanna Enget Sophomore "We're very young but very quick and we all work very help so that will pay off."
