Student Spotlight --- Towner

Posted: Updated:

Time for tonight's Student Spotlight - where we get to know the top high school seniors in the region.

This time we're in Towner to meet TGU-Towner's Mattie Schmitt.

(Mattie Schmitt, TGU-Towner Senior) "I think the reason I've done so well is because it's a small school and teachers love helping students out. You get the one on one help if you need any and I think that's helped me a lot. Math is my favorite subject because I enjoy doing it and I love the teacher we have for math - she's great. I'm involved in basketball, volleyball, track and field, FFA, 4H, NHS and student council. I plan to go to Dakota College at Bottineau and right now major in teaching and we'll go from there."

Congratulations to Mattie and these honor students at TGU-Towner.

Graduation day for all eight seniors will be May 25th.
