Student Spotlight --- Burke Central

Posted: Updated:

Our Student Spotlight is shining on Lignite tonight - that's where Burke Central high school senior Megan Peterson is at the top of her class.

(Megan Peterson, Burke Central Senior) "I think I did well because of my teachers and they help you a lot and are always there when you have questions. My favorite subject would probably be anatomy and my favorite teacher would be my science teacher. Just the way he teaches us everything and I've always been interested in anatomy so it's fun. I've always been in basketball, volleyball, and pep club and I'm on student council. My plans for next year I plan to go to BSC but I'm not really sure what I want to do yet. I'll figure it out down the way."

Congratulations to Megan and these honor students at Burke Central.

A total of nine seniors will be graduating on May 24th.
