Student Spotlight --- Max

Posted: Updated:

It's time for tonight's student spotlight.

Let's head to Max to meet the co-valedictorians - Colton Schroeder and Shelby Bigelow.

(Colton Schroeder, Max Senior) "I think I've done well in Max because it's a smaller school and we've had a lot of one on one time with the teachers and if we need extra help we can get it."

(Shelby Bigelow, Max Senior) "I really like my physics class and my pre-calculus class because they're challenging. And I also like Mr. Larson and Mrs. Greer the teachers."

(Colton Schroeder, Max Senior) "My favorite subjects are probably math and science because I've always been interested in the stuff we learn in there. My favorite teachers are Mr. Larson the math teacher who is also our basketball coach so I get along with him really good, and our history teacher Mr. Nordquist."

(Shelby Bigelow, Max Senior) "I've been involved in honor society, student council, science club, character counts club, and volleyball and basketball."

(Colton Schroeder, Max Senior) "Next year I plan to go to NDSU to major in mechanical engineering."

(Shelby Bigelow, Max Senior) "I plan to attent MSU for nursing in the fall. I want to be in the labor and delivery floors first."

Congratulations to Colton and Shelby.

Here are the honor students this year at Max.

A total of 17 seniors will get their diplomas on May 24th.
