Over 500 men and women of all ages and interests got to shop with local vendors and craftsmen today to gear up for the spring and summer months that are finally arriving.
The 8th annual Seasons of Renewal craft show fundraiser was held at the Sleep Inn today with over 50 different vendors.
Everything from jjeweler to kitchen utensils and grilling sets were available for sale - and this year, the money is being raised for the Juvenile Diabetes Research foundation.
The event's coordinator feels that bringing the community together for a good cause is what makes her job worth it.
(Kasha Nels, Event Coordinator) "It's a lot of work to put on these shows, but at the end of the day, I just think about.. this 800 dollars could make a huge difference to somebody, somewhere. And that's huge for us."
