Student Spotlight -- Maddock High School

Posted: Updated:

She is hoping for a career in music education.

Let's meet Shelby Brandvold, the top graduate at Maddock High School in tonight's Student Spotlight.

(Shelby Brandvold, Maddock Senior) "My parents have always been really motivated throughout high school so that helps a lot with grades and everything. I like English, that's always been my favorite and I'm just better with words than numbers I think. Ms. Sear, my English teacher, is probably one of my favorite teachers. Things I've been involved in during high school are FFA, sports like volleyball and track, and I was in FCCLA back in the day. Next year I plan on going to Minot State University and I will be majoring in music education. I'm thinking I'm going to want to teach grades 7-12 for choir."

Congratulations to Shelby and these honor graduates at Maddock High School.

A total of 11 seniors will be getting their diplomas on May 25th.
