Student Spotlight --- Stanley

Posted: Updated:

There's a tie for the top spot on the class list at Stanley High School this year.

Let's meet the co-valedictorians at Stanley in tonight's Student Spotlight.

(Sabrina Skarsgard, Stanley Senior) "Aside from working hard academically, I've also learned that actions speak more than words and it's important to be a positive role model academically through whatever you're doing."

(Austin Schmidt, Stanley Senior) "The teachers are really good with us, they're pretty thorough, and it's just a good learning environment."

(Sabrina Skarsgard, Stanley Senior) "My favorite classes are math and English, and I really like accounting too. I've had pretty good teachers like Mr. Norby and Mr. Remmick."

(Austin Schmidt, Stanley Senior) "My favorite classes are probably business classes and math. Mr. Norby has been a big help in business classes. Mr. Gleave and Mr. Remmick are good math teachers and have helped me learn and become a good student."

(Sabrina Skarsgard, Stanley Senior) "Next year I'm planning on going to BSC in the fall and I'm going to play sports there and I'll follow that at NDSU unless I go out of state and I'll probably double major in accounting and finance is what I'm thinking"

(Austin Schmidt, Stanley Senior) "I plan on attending the University of Mary and will be playing football there. I'm going to be majoring in business administration and I plan on hopefully opening my own business."

Congratulations to Austin and Sabrina, the valedictorians at Stanley High School.

Here is a list of the honor students at Stanley.

A total of 37 seniors will graduate on May 25th.
