Minot Cleanup Planned

Posted: Updated:

Williston isn't the only town looking to tidy up their community.

Minot is set to have their clean up days this weekend also.

The Minot Area Chamber of Commerce has organized the event over the past ten years in an effort to clean up trash revealed after snow melts.

They say everyone's help is welcome.

(Carla Dolan, City Chamber Program Director) "If you have a team of one or a team of one hundred we'll take you. We just need help. We have got garbage bags, you need to stop by the chamber, sign up for an area, and we are concentrating on the entrances of the community, and go to town."

The City Chamber and Community Leaders Enhancing Area Neighborhoods, better known as project clean, will be looking for volunteers to help out from 9 to 5 on Friday and 9 to 1 on Saturday.
