Mandan Commission Holds Working Session to Discuss Potential Use of Sales Tax Revenue

TRANSCRIPT

The Mandan City Commission projects to raise over 6.5 million dollars through its one percent sales tax in the year 2024.

The sales tax revenue for 2014 is about 2.5 million.

The Commission also estimates a sales tax fund balance of over eight million in ten years.

The group discussed the potential use of sales tax revenue at tonight's special working session.

Proposed projects include a North Side Fire Station, street maintenance, and a possible renovation of City Hall.
