The Burleigh County Dive team plans to try again...
Dive team commander Kelly Leben says he's recruited some bigger equipment to try to get that pick-up truck out of the Missouri River.
Someone stole the truck from a Bismarck woman in January, then dumped it into the river.
It's been sitting about 18 feet deep, covered about half way up with sand and soot, ever since.
That buoy in the water marks its location.
Two weeks ago the dive teem tried to get it out.
But the cables used by the towing companies weren't strong enough.
Leben says the new equipment will use cables that are twice as thick.
The cost of getting the truck out of the river falls on the truck owner and her insurance company.
Leben says the state health department has agreed to help pay to get the potential hazard out of the river.
They'll start putting boats in the water Thursday morning.
