A Jamestown man accused of two counts of gross sexual imposition in a case involving his two young stepdaughters entered not guilty pleas today at a preliminary hearing.
Before doing so, the step grandmother of the two girls took the stand in judge Gary Lee's courtroom, detailing when she learned of the possible crime that happened while he was living in Ward County. She said the two girls told her that Garry Wayne Johnson, their stepfather, had made inappropriate contact with both girls while each was present.
He is charged with two double A felonies carrying a possible life sentence if convicted. Johnson will next be on court on July 9th for a pre trial conference.
