Student Spotlight --- Westby

Posted: Updated:

We're headed to Montana for tonight's Student Spotlight.

Let's go to Westby and meet the top graduate at Westby High School, Thayne Ekness.

(Thane Ekness, Westby High School Senior) "Definitely the small student-faculty ratio - I get a lot of hands on help when I need it and connect really well with the teachers, they'll help out whenever needed. I do enjoy math with Mr. Polermocker and all the science with Mr. Saint, and art is always fun with Mr. Olson. I'm in football and basketball and track and golf and in the LYO. I'll be going to Bozeman and my major will be general engineering. I'd like to become an engineer for some firm like Boeing or Exxon-Mobil."

Congratulations to Thane Ekness, the valedictorian at Westby High School.

A total of five seniors will graduate from Westby on May 16th.
