Bond was reduced today for a Minot man facing 17 felonies.
19-year-old Nicholas Thiel is being held in the Ward County Jail for 12 Class C felonies for promoting obscenity to minors as well as terrorizing, promoting an obscene performance by a minor and luring minors by computer.
A $50,000 cash bond had been set.
Today the bond was reduced to $35,000 through a bondsman or ten percent of a $100,000 bond.
If bond is granted, Thiel will not be allowed to use any electronic devices and cannot make contact with minors.
Thiel was arrested on May first following a Minot Police Department online investigation that began in January.

A two-year-old child was killed by a hit-and-run driver in Minot Sunday evening.
