SHENZHEN, China, May 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Shenzhen ZNV Technology Co., Ltd (ZNV) today announced that the Board Meeting in late April made an official announcement: Robert Zhu has been appointed as the Executive Chairman of ZNV. He will be the head of the company and responsible for ZNV overall operations, reporting to the Board of Directors.

Robert Zhu was born and grew up in China, graduated from North China Electric Power University with a bachelor degree, and later became an engineer of North China Electric Power Bureau of then Ministry of Electric Power. Robert went to RMIT University in Australia in late 1980s and earned Master degree of Electronic Engineering; later he went to Monash University in Australia and earned MBA.

Robert Zhu has rich experience in global security business management. He was the Vice President and SA (South Asia) General Manager of ABB Group. From early 2008 to 2013, he was the Asia Pacific President and China President of Tyco, one of the largest security enterprises in the world. Under his leadership, Asia Pacific business had grown strongly. In the China market, Robert led his team making great improvements, from only selling products to providing integrated security solutions and alarm operation services. After years of efforts, Tyco established good cooperative relationship with finance, airport and government. The China market became the important growth engine of Tyco's global security business. At the competitive security market in South Korea, Robert also led his local team to build a good reputation and expanded his alarm monitor business. The business in South Korea became one of most profitable and high growth one inside Tyco.
