TrainND Opens Minot Center

Posted: Updated:

The effort to meet the needs of the oil and gas industry is growing once more.

TrainND Northwest has added a facility in Minot to accommodate training needs in central North Dakota.

The ribbon was cut for a two classroom facility which will have room to expand into fork lift and confined space training in the future.

TrainND Minot is a satellite of the Williston State College facility.

The program out grew the office space at Job Service and recently made the renovations for the move to the new northeast Minot facility.

(Dennis Knudson, TrainND Northwest Director of Petroleum Safety and Technology) "TrainND has always been and will continue to facilitate and bring training in for what ever it is, oil and gas industry or any business. We'll continue to grow and continue to meet the needs of the industry."

Knudson says having classrooms available in Minot and Williston is convenient as classes vary from a day to week long training courses.
