Student Spotlight --- Tioga

Posted: Updated:

Tonight's Student Spotlight shines on Tioga High School where we meet two of the top students getting ready for graduation.

(Makenzie Baker, Tioga Senior) "When I was a little girl my brother was graduating and they had an awards ceremony and there was this kid getting multiple awards and a lot of money and I asked my mom why he was getting so much money and she said it was because he had really good grades so ever since then I've pushed to get good grades so I could get a lot of money for college."

(Katie Larson, Tioga Senior) "I think one of the main reasons I did so well here is because I was always pushing myself to do the best of my abilities. But that wouldn't have been possible without help from my parents and the teachers."

(Makenzie Baker, Tioga Senior) "My favorite subject is probably math but my favorite class is definitely chemistry because of my favorite teacher Mrs. Moe."

(Katie Larson, Tioga Senior) "My favorite subject is math so my favorite classes were math with Mr. and Mrs. Odegaard and my favorite teacher would have to be English with Mr. Eris."

(Makenzie Baker, Tioga Senior) "I have been involved in volleyball, band, jazz band, choir, I am the president of FCCLA, the secretary of FFA, the secretary-treasurer of National Honor Society, and the treasurer of student council."

(Katie Larson, Tioga Senior) "I've been in volleyball, basketball, golf, FFA, and National Honor Society."

(Makenzie Baker, Tioga Senior) "I plan on attending Montana State University in the fall and my major is undecided."

(Katie Larson, Tioga Senior) "I plan to attend Minot State University and major in math."

Congratulations to these top graduates at Tioga High School.

A total of 27 seniors will be getting their diplomas on May 25th.
